Prayer times look wrong
Check the calculation method and the Asr school in Settings. Ten methods are offered, and mosques in the same city often follow different ones. Asr moves by about an hour between Shafi and Hanafi. If the times are still wrong, write with your city and the method you have set.
There is no imsāk time
Suhoor ends at Fajr, and every fasting screen says so. Where your mosque announces an earlier imsāk, follow your mosque.
The qibla points somewhere unexpected
Hold the phone flat, away from metal and magnets, and move it in a figure of eight when the app asks. The bearing is computed on the phone and is accurate. The phone’s compass sensor is the weak link. Where the phone cannot supply true north, the app says it is using magnetic north, which differs by more than 15° in some places. For a place you pray in regularly, confirm the direction another way.
Notifications are late or missing
Check that notification permission is granted, that battery optimisation is not restricting the app, and that Do Not Disturb or a focus mode is not filtering it. Notifications are scheduled by the device, and the operating system can delay or suppress them.
Which parts work offline
With no signal: prayer times, the qibla, the day plan, the Hijri date, your record and tasbih. After opening once: Quran text, translations, mushaf pages, hadith, duas and the 99 Names. Needs a connection: search, recitation audio and the day’s hadith selection.
Getting your data out, or deleting it
Everything is on the device. Uninstalling removes all of it. There is no account and no copy on a server.
Reporting an error in the content
Send the reference. Translations, narrations and grades come from published collections, and corrections are made where the source supports them.
